When everybody's on the bus and they're singing "Tiny Dancer", William turns to Penny Lane and says, "I have to go home." Look at Penny as he says this. She's about to sing the line: "Hold me close, young tiny dancer." when in fact the next line to the song is : "Count the headlights on the highway", which everybody else on the bus knows!! Where was she??
not technically a slipup, if you know anything about directing and editing a movie... the music track was laid on later to provide a continuous track. at the time of shooting, kate hudson was definately singing along with the music perfectly.

Not totally a slipup, actually adds some character to her character. I don't know all the words to every song, and maybe neither does she. It's funny and she looks cute in that scene. I don't think this should be regarded as a slipup, but more of a noteworthy obscurity.
