In the scene where Cypher is betraying the group to the agents at the restaurant, watch the steak piece. It changes from being mostly rare and ragged around the edges in the first scene, then changes to being more done and smooth around the edges.

Comrade writes:: Well, isn't it obvious? He felt that his steak wasn't cooked enough... per haps a little too rare. He stated that he knew it wasn't real. Morpheus stated that some rules can be bent... So rather than send his steak back he merely "bent" a rule and altered the "pseudo-physical" state of his steak to a more pleasant medium-well steak.
