Watch the episode where the Simpsons go to a picnic and Homer decides to take the family to a family therapy center mentioned on TV. When one of the guys threatened the people to leave, the just clapped instead of getting freaked out. On the left, there are two faces flashing. Probably an animation glitch when they were making the episode.
Was there a TV in the room? because if there was, their faces could have been reflecting the light from the TV.

Well, you can't really blame them, because they have to draw many frames of animation for 50+ people, all with different colour shirts, pants, pace colours, etc. If I had to do that, then I would probably go nuts.
