There's a sign at the foot of the mountains that says "VA BEACHES 6 MILES". In no way is the beach anywhere in Virginia that close to the mountains.

As a resident of the coast of Virginia, I remember numerous trips to the mountains taking at least 4 hours and that's in a car not one of those little motorcycles. In addition, why did they make the sign "Virginia beaches". Why couldn't they have a sign for "Virginia Beach", a real city? That would least give it some credibility.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful.
