In chapter 22 or an hour and 28 or so minutes, when Carolyn and Buddy are at Smiley Burger drive through. It cuts to them in the car saying, "We deserve a little junk food with the work out we just had!" If you watch while she is saying that, they are driving up to the order menu in the drive through, but they have already ordered. What an odd drive through system!
At the McDonald's and Jack in the Box in my city, there are two menus... one is like 7 feet in front of the other... perhaps, they were driving past the second one? Maybe not, but it's a possibility.

Well, this could be beacause I'm from Tasmania, and of course two heads require two menus, but down here there is usually one menu next to where you order and another where you pay. Just so you can check the price, I guess.
