At the part where they are having try-outs in the gym, the girl that dances sexy has on a floral print halter top when she is dancing on the floor. Then, the scene changes to her dancing on the table, and she has on a blue bikini top with yellow strings.
Actually, if you watch the DVD version of this movie, they show that the stripper scene was actually longer, but they cut it for editing reasons. So, in that version, you see her take off the first top and then the bikini is left under it. So, if you would like to check this out, watch it on DVD, the "extended scenes"
Actually you can even catch it on the regular movie (VHS) that you can catch she throws her shirt off, they dont show her taking it off but you can slightly see that she is throwing it down. butit is only for a split second so have a quick eye.
It does seem like that huh? But even on the Video version (if it is bought there are extended scenes but you do not need it to see it) if you go to the part and look closely, you can see the Bikini string that ties around her neck under the flower top....if you look hard enough you'll see it.
Ok, well, I have the Bring It On DVD, and if you look at like the deleted scenes or extended scenes or whatever, that scene has different music than the one in the movie, and you can see the girl taking her top off, so she does take her top off, they just cut out some parts of the scene.
It may be a slip-up on the VHS, but those of us with the DVD, realize why it was edited the way it was. On the movie, they are playing Cherry Pie by Warrant, and the director's commentaries on this scene, is that it was edited that short because of the fact using that particular song for that long cost $40,000.
In the DVD version, in the deleted scenes they show the stripper scene being longer ans it shows her taking her halter top off and then she gets on the table.
