Go to toward the end of the flick, they keep showing shots of the stars in the sky. Not only is there a freakish amount of stars, but you can make out repeated patterns, like they just cut and pasted them.
There's a freakish amount of stars because it is very, very dark out there on the ocean with no discernible light source. If you live in the city or even in a suburban street the stars don't seem as numerous because a lot of the minor ones are dimmed out by things like street lights. In the country, the stars seem more numerous as well.
As for the patterns, they are a small reference. When Rose is lying on the door looking up and singing, the stars form the shape of the necklace. Just thought you'd like to know. :)
Whoa, are you serious? They form the shape of the necklace? I never noticed that. See, I'm big on psychology and what goes on inside memories and stuff, and details like that are incredible to me. I have GOT to check that one out. You can see how cool that is, right? How she's trapped because of the necklace? Wow.
there would be an obscene number of stars seeing as theyre in the middle of the ocean with no man-made lighting and no sign of a moon. havent you ever been camping in the middle of the woods or traveled at night somewhere remote? i have seen skies that full of stars. its amazing. as far as a pattern goes, not sure. nothing i ever noticed. and i will have to check out the neclace thing stated before.
