Fear - "Daddy's Girl" Medal

The kid steals a medal that says "Daddy's Girl." Later in the movie, they want you to think he scratched some letters off or something to say "David's girl." Now compare them:

David's

Daddy's

Not all of the letters can be changed to look how David wanted them to. This is a big mistake, especially how they zoom in close like that and expect you not to think about it.

just me writes:: I think that what the character had done with the medal is filed it, so that the "Daddy" was no longer visible and then carved "David" into it. This makes more sense, because when the medal is shown up close, the writing looks changed very much, it's pretty messy.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Did you?
