I was also there, and I happened to notice that there were two bodyguards, directly behind her. When she said this, both of them put their hand on their face and shook it, really promoting the fact that it was a crazy slip-up.
Why don't you give her a break? She said overseas instead of outside the U.S. I'm sure if you analyze comments from every public figure, you'll find these minor hiccups. This certainly doesn't merit so much attention.
