Towards the beginning of the movie, when McCleod breaks out of the jail cell to save his dear mommie only to be to late, he starts killing people that try to stop him with a sword. After all that, he picks up his dead mother's body and starts to carry her off. Camera cuts to a wide shot of him walking towards the left of the screen.

Look at the body of one of his victims as McCleod walks near him. The guy on the ground very visibly picks his head up, looks around for a second and then lays his head back down.

It looks as if the editors missed this one, or they ran out of film and had to use that take or something, because it is pretty obvious.
