I just saw Goldeneye again on TV. It's amazing how many slip-ups there are just in the opening sequence that I must admit I hadn't noticed until I read about them here... But to me, the most obvious inconsistency hasn't been posted yet. When James Bond arrives on the dam, there isn't any snow anywhere. Before that, we even fly over the dam and we can see that the area is surrounded with green hills or mountains and even nice little houses in the background. Then James Bond makes his way into the chemical weapon facility under the dam, and does what he has to do and escapes... As he comes out of the buildings, he finds himself in a mountainous area where everything is covered in snow, and seems to be at the top of some extremely high mountain where nobody can possibly live! Where is the damn dam? Where are the nice little houses? Where did all that snow suddenly come from?
