When Torrance is telling the squad that they are going to work hard to make it to Nationals, it shows clips of them practicing different stuff.

One scene shows them outside on the schools grass and if you look at the front row, you see Carver, the girl who supposedly broke her leg in three different places.

I think the scene was just taken from the first practice when she really broke her leg and they just stuck it in there.
