Clueless - Summers Jeep

The part in Clueless where they are just leaving the party in the Valley.....

Summer says "Pretty Random fiesta"... and they decide who is going to take who home.. well.. Tai ends up riding with Summer and as Tai gets into the jeep, she's holding a light up snowman lawn ornament for Christmas... if you look closely at the door of the jeep, you will see the cord to the snowman? Was Summer planning to drive off with the snowman plugged in?? Why is she stealing the snowman in the first place???
