When Cate Blanchett is having one her flashback nightmares she visions someone strangling her. This whole movie is a poorly written whodoneit and in this scene it's quickly revealed by seeing the watch on the killer's wrist. In this scene it is clearly Greg Kinnear's watch and he ends up being the killer. How disappointing!
