If you have seen Cast Away, you know that Tom Hanks uses some packages that wash up on the shore to survive. He saves one package and intends to deliver it if he can get off the island.

He builds a raft and sets out with the package. Violent storms arise and batter his little vessel. We see Tom laying on the raft, sun beating down on him, with much of the raft missing. The camera pans over the whole raft, and to my recollection, the package was not there. Lost at sea, right?

Wrong! Hanks delivers the package in the end. Was I mistaken about this? I thought the box was lost in the storm. Unless he was laying on the box the whole time...

I think that slip is pretty critical to the continuity of the film.
