Watch the big face off at the end of the episode with the big guys with the implants in their necks. When Max jumps through the window, the line of blood coming from her eye is dark and obvious. In the next shot of her, it's lighter. In the next shot of her, you just barely see it. Then for the rest of the scene it's dark again.
