At the end of the movie when the older Dottie comes out of her reverie she standing just inside the ballpark holding her suitcase (in her left hand). Doris recognizes her and points her out to Mae. Doris then calls out to Dottie and throws her a baseball. Dottie deftly catches the baseball with the same hand she held the suitcase only a split second before! What a gal!!!
