In the first opening battle, just before the battle starts, the barbarians come out of the woods and defy the Romans. There are NO arrows at their feet when they first come out of the woods. Then it cuts back to the Romans and the next shot you can see the barbarians doing a fake charge advancing a few meters and then retreating. You can clearly see hundreds of arrows stuck in the ground at their feet, while there hasn't been fired a single shot in the meanwhile. :-)
