In the episode where Frasier gets his briefcase stolen by Nathan Lane who then proceeds to pose as Frasier, it is also Frasier's birthday. There is a scene early on in the show where he is in his apartment and Martin, Daphne, and Niles give him a cake. There are trick re-lighting candles on the cake. After Frasier's sarcastic comment about them, the candles suddenly disappear without any indication that anyone took them off.
