This is at the climax of the movie when Ariel and Eric are fighting Ursula, right before she gets really big. Ariel says something like "Don't do this Eric, save yourself!" and Eric replies with "No, I won't leave you!" but his lips aren't moving. Pretty gifted guy to be demonstrating his ventriloquism skills in a life-or-death situation! :)
