Transformers: The Movie - Spinning Ship
While the autobots are landing on the planet of junk in the spiral shaped ship that they acquired on quintessa (the planet with the sharkticons), there is a view of the ship landing from the outside. It is clearly spinning in a spiral motion. The next shot is Autobots looking out of the ship into the crowd on the ground. The ground is not spinning, indicating that the ship isn't spinning anymore. The next shot is from the outside with the ship still spinning.

This one's fairly simple. Of the numerous problems (most of which not mentioned on Slip-Ups, this one's easy. The bridge of the ship where they're stationed more than likely is a small section that does not rotate. Of course likely you're right, just getting technical, that's all.
