Well, if you're going to be _really_ picky (us? never!), Dennis Quaid doesn't look anything like Lance Guest, although they both play Michael Brody in Jaws 3 and 4 respectively. I think the folks who made the fourth movie would prefer
to forget that the third one ever existed. Can't say that I blame them, although the fourth one isn't any better... :)
In jaws 3 Michaels girlfriend is called Kathrine and in 4 His wifes name is Carla so they are not the same character.As for the job switch theres about 5 years between the films which is more than enough time for Michael to get a degree in Marine biology.
