When Erin's kids are waiting in the lobby of the office while she meets with Ed, you can see that the office sign says "Masry and Vittitoe." This is LONG before Vittitoe is hired!
Watch the movie again and check the office lobby sign more closely. From the very first time we see the lobby, early in the movie when we first see Ed Masry, the sign says "Masry and Vititoe". You can see this many times and it is consistent throughout. The partner who joins Masry later in the story is named Parker, not Vititoe. They never tell us who Vititoe is.
