X-Men - Wolverine's Magic
Near the beginning of the movie when Wolverine and Rogue have the accident while driving. Wolverine is shot out of the front windshield yet if one watches afterward the wind shield is still intact just a little cracked. If he were to been shot out there would have been a little bigger hole in the glass or it would have shattered.

On Rogue's side of the car, yes it was just a little chipped, but Wolverine had a pretty good sized hole, enough to get through at the right angle.

Not to mention windshields since 1969 or so have been coated or treated or whatever (ask a windshield guy) with something to keep them from shattering. Like when your forehead hits them at 30 miles an hour. The same coating (or whatever) keeps them from exploding outward when something busts through them. Almost like roadrunner cartoons, holes in windshields stay the same size as anything going through them, or even a little smaller. Take it from a guy who's found a 2-inch hail stone on his car seat and 1 1/2" holes in his windshield in the last week.
