Watch to the scene where Brian and his mother are buying rocks for the stoning from Eric Idle. While they are speaking, if you watch the top of the screen you can clearly see the boom mike drop into view and swing from Brian's mother to Idle and back again depending on who is speaking, before it pulls out of the shot slowly.

I don't know why no one has mentioned this one before.
