Raiders of the Lost Ark - They Blew Blue Sky
I hope no one gets mad, but to me this is the most obvious slip-up in the film.
When Harrison Ford is down in the well of souls, being addressed by his colleague looking down through the opening, the sky alternates between:
- dreary and overcast
- sunny cloudless bright blue
- nearly stormy
several times in a few seconds.
This cold mean they changed the script after production started and didn't bother to re-shoot all of a few simple lines.

Indiana Jones is about to disturb the resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. The storm moving in fast is a way of stating that supernatural forces are being upset (not to mention making this scene much spookier). It's just your basic "Wrath of God" fore-shadowing element the creators used throughout the film.

I've noticed this before but I always thought that a storm was coming up because they were about to retrieve the ark. I am not certain this is a slip-up but the beginning of a storm. Sorry, but I may be wrong.

i agree with jabba - it is clouds coming because of the ark. Remember when they open the ark you can see the clouds as well.
