3 Ninjas - Name Change
If you listen in the first movie, the boys' Grandpa is named Maury Tanaka. This is stated when the parents leave and Colt finds the picture and reads the back of it. In 3 Ninjas Kick Back, when the boys get to Japan, after retrieving the lady's purse, they tell her that they need to visit their grandfather, Maury Shintaro.
