Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. - Out of Uniform
When they show the Air Force guy watching the Jerry Springer show for the first time obviously someone didnt research the uniform regulations, first of all the Staff Sergant that is watching the tv's is wearing a crew neck t-shirt under his blue shirt which is out of uniform it should be a v neck, also the general is wearing his name tag on his jacket and that is also out of uniform.

You will find that in any movie or tv show where an actor portrays a military character. Some federal law (I don't know which) forbids them from properly wearing a military uniform. In other words the actor will be out of uniform even if he or she is wearing one. I think the only exception to this law is if the actor was prior military. Then they can wear it according to military uniform regulations.
