Dr. Dolittle - Replay
When Eddie Murphy gets out of the hospital and comes home to see his family, his daughter is home from camp. When the camera turns to her it shows her sitting down, then the camera moves to someone else. Once again it goes back to her and shows her sitting down in the chair again. She never got up from the first time.

If she is sitting down the whole time, where's the slipup.

I think Anonymous means that it shows her in the act of sitting once. Then it moves and comes back and shows her in the act of sitting once again. I think when s/he said sitting the meant the verb.

I agree with Mike, if she was sitting down in the first mentioned shot and is STILL sitting down in the next...where's the mistake in that?

Just a guess... but didn't she get up and hug him or something between those two shots?

No, I think what the person is saying is that she was standing up, then sat down, and in the next shot she was standing up, and sat down. She was sitting there the whole time.
