Rock, The - Glass Cutting Coin?
In the scene where they're interviewing Connery in the room with a one way mirror; He stomps his chair on either a quarter or a nickel, don't remember which, then uses it to cut the one-way mirror. Just one problem, the metals used in making nickels AND quarters gave a lower scratch rating than glass, and there for wouldn't be able to even scratch the glass.

the guy wasnt using the coin to scratch the glass, he was using it to scratch the plastic film on the glass, so it would be easier to break through.

In saftey glass, the glass itself isn't any different from other glass, it's the plastic film placed over it so it's a lot tougher, also when it does break (it will break if you hit it hard enough) the glass shards won't go anywhere and seriously injure a whole lot of people.

Maybe he stomped the coin with the chair to stick some grit to the coin, and it was the grit that scratched the glass.
