When Indy is in that Arabic (or whatever) village and that Nazi truck tips over onto those baskets look on the bottom of the truck, you can see an olive green plunger! Cool, no?

Pingpo writes:: An interesting fact about the truck rollover, so this may belong in trivia. The truck was actually supposed to fly into the air and land on its side. The filmmakers weren't sure it would work, so they went ahead and shot it and they were happy with it anyway. I saw this in a making of video about Raiders.; 2 of 2 people found this comment helpful. Tim Hager writes:: You are correct. The "plunger" is a piece of telephone pole, put into a mortar. This metal pipe, with one end closed off, has an electrically fired explosive in it, when loaded with the telephone pole, and fired by the stunt driver, instant rollover!; 1 of 1 people found this comment helpful.
