Simpsons - Weird Window

In the episode where there is a hurricane in Springfield, Homer boards up the flat window with his front door. When the family comes out of the basement, the door is magically back on the hinges and the windows are curved. Another comment is that if I'm not mistaken, the Flanders's house is on the other side of the Simpsons than before the hurricane.

The reason it looked different in Hurricane Neddy is because it was from the back of the houses.
