This happens in the episode where Ralph gets Norton fired from the sewer. At the end of the episode, Ralph comes home with an iron for alice. He plugs it in and leaves it on top of the ice box. The iron turn out to be a piece of crap and explodes. If you play the episode on slow motion, or frame by frame, you can clearly see that the explosion comes from behind the ice box, not the iron.
