Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Blood Type
In reply to the need that Reese needs blood Cameron points out Sarah is O- meaning she received O type genes from bother of her parents according to genetics. Dixon states that he needs his own blood type AB (which requires an A from one parent and B from another). Later in the episode John gives blood to Reese implying that he is AB which is impossible given that his mother is type O.

Actually, type O is a "universal donor," meaning that a person with type O blood can give blood to someone of any other blood type (A, B or AB). So the real slipup is not the implication that Jon has type AB blood, but the asserted claim that a person with AB blood can only receive AB blood.
