Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - Plugged Into the Future
During my second viewing of The Phantom Menace, I noticed something out of the ordinary. Many people would say that Natalie Portman's Character was unable to flee becouse she felt an obligation to her people. I think it had more to do with the extention cord sticking out of the bottom of her dress. If you notice when she is staring out the window during the attack, along the wall is a cord leading into the bottom of her dress. She is wearing the red dress with the glowing bulbs at the bottom. She brings new meaning to the word drag, if that needs something the size of a car battery.

But why is that a slip-up? Maybe they have outlets in galaxies far, far, away?

It would have been far more amusing to see the Energizer Bunny hopping along behind her. Hee Hee Hee. G.G.7

*L* or even better, have HER carrying around that freakin drum! I agree, that is a slip up. They could have hidden that cord. I guess that's why you never see her moving around in it, though. *L*

I see the cord, but can't say for sure that it goes into the dress. In real life, though, it makes sense.
