During the autopsy early in the movie, Denzel's character takes a polaroid photo of the girl for ID purposes. A little while later when he pulls it out of his coat pocket to show her photo, it is a very large photo. It is possible that he could have stopped somewhere and had an enlargement made but unlikely since such a horrific event had just occured and everyone was trying to work fast. And if he was going to take the time to make an enlargement, why take the polaroid? Why not just wait for a photo from the coroner?
