During the sectionals competition, "New Directions" opens with Rachel singing "Don't Rain on My Parade". Late in the number the other members of the choir enter the stage from two different sides and line up behind Rachel. Fenn leads the line from the right and Puck the line from the left. At one point they cross in behind Rachel to reach their spots on the riser. A few seconds later they do exactly the same thing again.
