Honey, I Blew Up The Kid - Why Didn't He Use the Machine?
Near the beginning of the movie Wayne buys huge clothes from the "clothes for big and tall people" shop for his baby son Adam who has gotten huge. He should of got some of Adam's clothes and made them bigger with his machine
Wayne can't use his machine to make Adam's clothes bigger because he doesn't even have the machine at this point. At some point after the TV series Wayne gets transferred to the lab in Las Vegas that he works at in this movie and he decides to store his original machine in the lab warehouse where he and Diane go to get it later in the film. If Wayne had his original machine at the house he wouldn't have to go to the lab in the first place and the writers wouldn't have a film.
