This is at the very begining of the episode, where they are all sitting around after dinner. Watch closely as the show is starting, watch the remote, it is sitting across the corner of the table, pointed at the ottoman. Watch the remote closely, as it goes from being pointed at the ottoman, to being pointed at the TV, and back. This could be explained rather easily,...maybe Phoebe turned it to point it at the TV.... but in the next shot, it is pointed at the ottoman. And she very clearly shows that it is not worth it to pick up the remote to turn on the TV, why would she have picked it up to turn it?? Check it out.
