In the episode where they all play football on Thanksgiving, the final teams end up being the girls vs. the guys. Rachel has been useless all game, but Monica throws to her for the winning touchdown. She catches it, and spikes it. The guys argue she didn't cross into the endzone, negating the win. They then say, "Since Rachel wasn't tackled, the game isn't over right?" or something like that. Then there is a mad pile-up for the ball. But in football, if the ball is spiked, the play is dead. It wouldn't be a fumble, so Ross and Monica held onto the ball for no reason, the guys win since the play is dead.
