In the pilot episode, near the end where Starsky knocks on the hotel bedroom door of the hitmen they have been persuing, one of the hitmen blasts two holes in the door with a shotgun in an attempt to kill Starsky. The officer retreats back to the stairwell, and the the gunmen open the door to make their escape, but the two huge holes are now gone and the door is intact.
