Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - Siths Sure Can Change Their Clothes Fast!
As Senator Palpatine is talking to Queen Amadala when they are descussing in-doors that with the Supreme Chancelor they have no action will be made quickly enough for the people of Naboo. Notice that the camera is focused on Senator Palpatine and he is wearing a blue alphet, then cuts to the Queen, then back to the Senator again and now his alphet is green, then it cuts again and stays blue. A very weird and obvious slip up, im surprised that even got by George Lucas...i always thought he'd be smarter then that.

Chancelor Palpatine being supreem chancelor eventualy curupts the republic into making the Empire. Then he leaves the republic to train Anikin Skywalker to become Darth Vader. Palpatine then rules the Empire as Emporer Palpatine the Sith lord.

Palpatine's alphet changes color because of the lighting in the room. Its not a mistake at all.

You can also tell that Palpatine is Darth Sidious because the same guy plays Palpatine that plays Darth Sidious in the 4th, 5th, and 6th episodes.

Perhaps his outfit was made from that funny fabric that turns a different colour when you're sweaty . Maybe he finds the princess hot? HeeHee G.G.7 P.S. Don't complain about me spelling colour wrong, that's how we Kiwis spell it.

The person who plays Palpatine, Ian McDiarmid, did play the character in EP.6, Return of the Jedi, but he did not play him in EP.4 or 5. The character wasn't even in EP.4! Someone else played him briefly as a holographic image in Empire Strikes Back.

How could Palpatine think Princess Leia is hot when she wasn't born yet?

If Palpatine and Sidious were the same person just two different identities than it would have been shown the following way in the credits (Senator Palpatine/Darth Sidious), but it is not.

Palpatine/Sidious and Darth Maul are both Sith Lords, one is just the master and the other one is the apprentice, it is so obvious throughout the trilogy and the prequels that Palpatine is the same person as Darth Sidious, if you didn't know before, and find then find out they are the same, go back and watch the movies again, all the sudden Palpatine will seem to have this underlying evil in him, especially in the prequels you can tell, because obviously they look the same..Lucas probably didn't credit the actor for the same role because technically we aren't supposed to know they are the same person until episode 3, but star wars fans know anyway, because we all know the basic story, which includes the "discovery" that they are the same...plus , even though we already know, it's still fun to find out all over again lol, thats the whole point
