In the episode of Golden Girls "The way we were" when the girls were recalling on how they met each other in one scene Rose gave her cat Mr. Peepers away to a little boy she met in a grocery store. Then on the episode "High Anxiety" when Rose was addicted to her prescription pain medication,she said needed to take a pill because it was the anniversary of the death of her cat Fluffy. It was then Dorothy told her she had never had a cat because she was allergic to them.
