In the scene where they are flying to San Fran to go to the opera, they show the plane in flight, with the sunset in the distance. They are up to cruising altitude and on their way. The pilot voiceover announces that it is 50 more minutes to San Fran. Problem is, the sun is setting on the horizon off the right side of the plane, which means they're headed SOUTH. It will take a lot longer than 50 minutes to get to San Fran if you fly south from LA!
