Seinfeld - Beer and Liquor...together??
In the episode titled 'The Dinner Party' (the one where Jerry and Elaine are buying cinnamon Babka and George and Kramer are buying wine), when George and Kramer are in the liquor store, there are advertisements for beer on the walls, and a cooler full of beer. To my continuing annoyance, according to New York State ABC laws, liquor and beer cannot be sold from the same store. Therefore, the entire scene is inaccurate since it's supposed to take place in New York City, which is most of the time subject to New York State law. Maybe in California common sense prevails (this time only) and you can buy any kind of alcohol at the same store, but in barbaric New York State, you may not. Thanks blue laws!
