Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi - Leia, aren't You Supposed to Be a Little,um,shocked?
In the part right Jabba dies, R2-D2 zaps leia's slave hold chain with an electric current (or something like that). For those of you who didn't know, metal conducts electricity.Well, leia's chain is made out of metal,so I was thinking,if the metal conducts electricity, and the chain that was holding WAS metal, why didn't she even flinch? (that was a big looking current of electricity...)

R2D2 is a REPAIR droid. He has tools meant to repair ships and other equipment. (Luke and Owen bought him to repair moisture vaporators.) The sparking tool is more like an arc welding unit. Arc welding will not shock or electrocute even through conducting metal.
