Full House - The Phone Rings
On the Full House episode "A Pox In Our House," Stephanie spreads the chicken pox to Joey and Jesse. About 14 or 15 minutes into the episodes, Stephanie is sneaking out through the kitchen. But she can't get out because Joey is there, complaining that his food isn't ready. So he goes to write down what he wants, but he doesn't have a pen. So Stephanie throws him one and runs out of the room. Joey picks it up and something that sounds like the phone rings. He says "I guess I'm sicker than I thought." Then the camera pans into the living room, where Danny is talking on the phone. But wait- didn't the phone just ring when Joey was in the kitchen? People don't usually have two different phone lines on the same floor.

Okay, Danny was on the phone calling baby-sitters. Obviously he would hang up the phone in between calls, right? So somebody must have called their house when he was in-between calls and he picked it up. Very simple answer and this shouldn't be a slipup at all.

not true. We have two phones in our downstairs (uncannily enough one is in the kitchen the other is in the family room) and 3 phone lines on our second floor (parents room, office, my room) Most of my friends have a phone in the kitchen and a phone in the living room. i don't think it's abnormal at all. and if the phone just rang, why inst it possible that Danny picked it up on the first ring?
