About 5 minutes into the movie, Jack Ryan says goodbye to his daughter and goes to Heathrow. I'll assume the time he says goodbye to his daughter is around 8pm, as she is about to head to bed. Presumably, his flight to Washington would be about 11pm or midnight. He lands the next morning in Washington, making it to a meeting, presumably for about 8am. Because you are travelling westbound, a midnight flight from Heathrow to Washington would land at 3am. It's the North America to Europe flights that are generally overnighters. Going the opposite direction, te common timing is an afternoon arrival in the States.
