In the scene where the Persians are raining down arrows on the Spartans. After they are done laughing and get up after the arrows stop Leonidas cuts the arrows off of his shield leaving the ends of the arrows embedded in his shield. When he walks forward and the camera changes to his back, as he turns toward the camera the arrow ends have disappeared.
