In this scene of the movie Bruce Davison is in a hospital cafeteria preparing a bowl of cereal. He is with his long lost father played by Jack Lemmon. On the table is a banana for the cereal. Through the scene the banana disappears and reappears practically through the whole scene until Bruce Davison finally picks it up and uses it.
